Introduction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds and cancellations are processed for CyberPeace Summit 2.0 registrations and ticket purchases. Please read this Policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Policy

All ticket purchases and registrations are generally non-refundable and non-transferable. However, refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances as outlined below.

Important: Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to summit@cyberpeace.net within the specified timeframes mentioned in this Policy.

2. Eligible Refund Scenarios

A. Event Cancellation by CyberPeace

If CyberPeace cancels the Summit for any reason:

  • • Full refund will be processed automatically
  • • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 15-30 business days
  • • Registered participants will be notified via email

B. Event Postponement

If the Summit is postponed to a new date:

  • • Your registration will automatically be transferred to the new date
  • • If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the postponement announcement
  • • Refund requests after 30 days may not be accepted

C. Duplicate Payment

If you have been charged multiple times for the same registration:

  • • Contact us immediately at summit@cyberpeace.net
  • • Provide proof of duplicate payment (transaction IDs, receipts)
  • • Full refund for duplicate charges will be processed within 7-14 business days

D. Technical Errors

If a payment error occurs due to technical issues on our Platform:

  • • Report the issue within 48 hours of the transaction
  • • Provide transaction details and error screenshots
  • • Refund will be processed after verification

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind or personal circumstances
  • Inability to attend due to personal reasons (illness, travel issues, work commitments, etc.)
  • No-show on the event day
  • Violation of event terms leading to removal from the event
  • Refund requests submitted after the specified deadline
  • Partial attendance or early departure from the event

4. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund request is approved:

  • Processing Time: 7-14 business days from approval
  • Credit to Account: 15-30 business days depending on your bank/payment provider
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction

Note: Processing times may vary during peak periods or due to bank processing delays. We are not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or financial institutions.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to summit@cyberpeace.net with the subject line "Refund Request - [Your Registration ID]"
  2. Include the following information:
    • Full name and email address used for registration
    • Registration ID or transaction ID
    • Reason for refund request
    • Proof of payment (receipt, transaction screenshot)
  3. Wait for confirmation email from our team (within 3-5 business days)
  4. Once approved, refund will be processed as per the timelines mentioned above

6. Cancellation by Participant

If you wish to cancel your registration:

  • Send a cancellation request to summit@cyberpeace.net
  • Include your registration details and reason for cancellation
  • Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund
  • Refund eligibility will be determined based on the criteria outlined in this Policy

7. Payment Gateway Charges

Please note that:

  • Payment gateway processing fees (if any) are non-refundable
  • Refund amount will be the ticket price minus any applicable processing fees
  • Currency conversion charges (if applicable) are not refundable

8. Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns or disputes regarding refunds, please contact us at summit@cyberpeace.net. We will review your case and respond within 5-7 business days. All disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of India and the jurisdiction of New Delhi courts.
